Meet the Harrison High School NEHS Chapter Advisors:
Lead Advisor Mrs. Danielle Crandall, the Hoya Writing Center coordinator, is a powerhouse teacher who challenges and inspires her students. In her 11th year teaching and 2nd year at Harrison, Mrs. Crandall teaches AP Language and multiple levels of American Literature. She earned both her bachelors and masters degrees from Kennesaw State University. Her favorite part of teaching is watching students grow and build their self-esteem. Mrs. Crandall also co-coordinates the Harrison chapter of the National English Honor Society. |
Advisor
Mrs. Motsinger is a native of North Georgia and attended Young Harris College to pursue a degree in English Literature. At Young Harris, Mrs. Motsinger fell even more in love with the written word and with helping her peers as a tutor in the Writing Center. After graduation, Mrs. Motsinger earned her teaching certificate through the University of North Georgia. Mrs. Motsinger has been teaching at Harrison High School for five years, and she loves learning alongside her students. Harrison’s high standards for education and dedicated students inspire Mrs. Motsinger daily to dig deeper in her own studies of literature. Advisor
Stephanie Tatum has taught English for 21 years. Currently, she teaches AP English Language and humanities at Harrison High School. She enjoys reading historical fiction and staying abreast of global and local news. |
